I'm finally starting to draw again. No, it isn't as good as my other sketches, but I'm creating original characters of my own now. Sure, they're not really drawn the best possible, but cut me some slack. Anyways, here are the first two our four.
Laugh as much as you choose, but you will not laugh me out of my opinion.
This is Ellen Brooke. One of my best friends has been pregnant since November, and well, she was due July 29, but a day early is just fine. I'm so glad she brought such a beautiful little girl into the world, and I'm a very happy 'uncle'. You see, my friend and I are like siblings (the non-fighting kind) and we get along really well. She is going to get married in the fall to her fiancee, who is quite a nice guy, and they'll raise this beautiful Ellie. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to babysit. Holding her was a great experience, too. Maybe I'l rethink my nursing career in anesthethia and be a baby nurse? Who knows? Nursing holds many fields, and I could behold many beautiful creations like Ellie everyday if I so chose. Anyways, this is Ellen Brooke, Ellie or Brooke for short. Isn't she precious?

This is the first, official post on my blog! Well, to start off, I'm going to recommend movies. If you haven't already rented and/or bought it, I definitely recommend you go rent and/or buy Penelope on DVD. Not only does it have big names (Christina Ricci, James McAvoy, and Reese Witherspoon), but it's only rated PG and it's an amazing movie! Seriously, if you love fantasy mixed with reality in modern-day New York-type scenery, then go watch it. The title of this post, by the way, is a quote from the movie.
